Street performers

...captured at Ueno Park, in Tokyo, when we went for a visit at the National Museum for yet another exhibition of art from the Imperial Collection.
The group's name is CELESTROI, pronounced [selestroa], I assumed they might be French, but I'm not sure. They were playing mediaeval European music with very old instruments and dressed as you can see. They certainly were an attraction for the people around, especially women as they were using a golden powder from time to time to throw over the heads of the spectators.
They were most unusual in appearance, but the music was beautiful...at least to my ears.
