Window into the Forest

Summer in the Oirase Gorges, inside the Towada-Hachimantai National Park, located in Tohoku (northern Honshu). So,we are leaving Towada Lake to follow the Oirase river which flows from the lake to the Pacific. On its way the river dug these beautiful gorges that are so green in summer. We spent 4 hours walking along the river. I felt like in a hothouse, all green and hot and humid.
