......on Lake Towada! Superb location inside the Towada-Hachimantai National Park in Northern Honshu which is known as the Tohoku area (in fact...one third of the nothern part of the main island of Honshu). No train links, you can reach there by car or by bus only. We took a three hours'drive by bus to spend a few days in this wonderful wilderness. Few tourists, as the location is far from "civilization" and it is a place to be enjoyed by those in love with nature.
