@Dimitrios: Those yellow things on their backs are the "raincoats" of the era, made of rice straw....and so is the hat, good for all seasons!
A very fine portrayal of a field scene, I especially like the baby in the basket.

An interesting coincidence: akarui shows images of today's rice farmers, work didn't change much during the centuries.
