...or maybe .......boy? It suddenly came out from among the irises, boldly looking at me with one eye and then with the other. I made all sorts of friendly sounds to persuade it to come closer......but I saw the disdain in its eye! Then...it turned and let itself in among the irises, gracefully swimming away......

There she stood, with matching beak and feet, wondering what it was you were saying to her. Such lovely feathers and her twisted neck so she could look around, this is a wonderful capture. Poetry in motion.......
