The building is part of the shoya's estate. Such a structure was and still is used for the storage of heirlooms and precious things. The building is very sturdy and can withstand typhoons and fires. It is also a fine piece of architecture! Here, again, the contrast of flowers against the white of the walls is refreshing and pleasing.

That placid and prettier view should be had from the windows of the house of the fund.. The to see the flowers being reflected in the water, should be a marvelous one to awake!!

@baba: The building is not for visitors to roam around, you can just throw a look inside from the entrance door on the side. The windows above are meant for airing the inside space only! So......no photos from inside the structure! Thanks for the visit and comment! Gabriela
Dear Gabriela - another lovely photograph in this place and I see the raindrops in the pond. There are 'uprights' (poles) of some kind going to the roof, but what are the smaller circles with something in the middle of each one?

@Judy: Sorry, dear Judy, I have no idea WHAT those details are meant for. The structure has its own pattern according to which it must be built and, unless you are insider, there's no way to know in details what everything is meant to be.Thank you for the visit and your very close analysis of the shot! Gabriela
A beautiful spot! And great sharpness: I can see that it was raining :)

An idyllic setting, far nicer than the store houses here. Lovely image.

This is lovely. I like the crispness and colors in this pleasing composition, Gabriela. The foreground flowers are gorgeous and my eye is drawn to those wonderful roofing tiles.

What a delightful view Gabriella you've photographed this like a pro, a front-cover for Victoria Magazine ;)

And so it is! If this is only a storage building, I would like to swop my house against it :).

Wonderful, and what a kura! Never seen one that grand before. I like especially the umbrella in the scene, which is very evocative. Nicely done.
