Flowers of the rainy season: IrisPosted by Japanalia (Yokohama, Japan) on 6 June 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. A shot taken at Kamo Iris Garden, Kakegawa, Shizuoka prefecture. An old estate, transfered from one generarion to the other, where the rich farmers created this beautiful garden of mainly Japanese Irises. It is a thing of beauty and subtle elegance, especially on a rainy day, that leave one with a deep feeling of Japan.
