Yesterday we went on hanami...that is "flower viewing"....... around the neighbourhood. All cherry trees are in full bloom, just looking down from our balcony the eyes meet a sea of white blossoms! The beauty of cherry blossoms is beyond words......you just get speechless watching them and you feel your soul bursting! We had a long promenade under the cherry blossoms tunnel and even the cars seemed to choke with emotion!

This is spring wonderland. From far away the multitude of white petals looks like masses of snow.

Oh I am so jealous! Such a beautiful scene... Although whenever I think of hanami, I can't help but think of a show where a character misheard harami for hanami, and much embarrassment ensued...

MAR-VEL-LOUS! This is nowhere to be seen in the rest of the world, not even in my former living place Baarn with its streets filled with pink prunus blossoms!
