A collage of my other pet amaryllis

This one is apple blossom coloured, the flowers are bigger and seems to be alive longer than its red sister.

This is one flower that I always intend to buy but for some reason never get around to, so after seening these shots, I will make myself another promise, that when I see one, I will just buy it :)

@MaryB: It's getting more and more popular here, Mary! And having it during winter, watching how the tems grow, buds sahpe up and then little by little start opening....it's a great thrill! And the flowers are magnificent. We intend to take care of the plants over summer and then try to make them bloom again in winter. It is difficult, but I know people that managed.Thank you for visiting!

I've never had one of the variegated colored ones, but this is really beautiful, Gabriela.
Reading your reply to MaryB, I have one on the porch that has a large bud coming. If it blooms, it will be the third year - not as hardy as the first, but I hope we will have a flower or two.
