Their white cups agaisnt the walls of the buildings make a beautiful, elegant contrast! It was just about starting to rain when I managed to get this shot today, in the afternoon, using Yoshiyuki's camera. I hope you'll welcome them with the same thrill that I felt when I looked at them!

They are at their best in London, now, too . . such a short time in bloom but so beautiful. Great city trees.

What a lovely magnolia. Japan is much further than over here, where the forsythia are blooming. The magnolias will wait until April.

This is a wonderful contrast against the building as you pointed out, Gabriela. And I like the paint job on the building behind. We are experiencing a snowfall at the moment so what was spring a few days ago has now become winter again. Your image here is lovely.
