My pet Amaryllis in bloom

I have a new delight at home....my Red Lion pet Amaryllis is blooming!!! Two sturdy stems, each with four red cups, of which 6 are already open...only 2 left as buds. They'll probably bloom tonight (I wonder WHY they prefer night time to open, are they that shy?!) When all of them are open, I'll take another shot - hope to get all 8 flowers - and show you the beauties. I have one more pot, apple blossoms colour, but the bud is just trying hard to open.
