Postcard from HakonePosted by Japanalia (Yokohama, Japan) on 10 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Late December afternoon on Lake Ashi in Hakone. I took this shot from the lounge of the Narukawa Museum of Art in Moto-hakone, through glass. The Museum has a magnificent view of the lake and...if you are lucky...of Mount Fuji. The late afternoon light was touching the holy mountain, the red gate of the Hakone Shrine and the little red bridge, while one of the many pleasure boats was heading for the pier. Peace in nature and peace in our hearts!
