Dearest Gabriela & Yoshiyuki ... I never got to view this yesterday (Feb. 7) so am blushing because I'm so late in getting to see your beautiful birthday dedication. I think you call it anniversary, which of course it is. ... I spent the afternoon and evening with my mother's best friend's two daughters and we all agreed that our mothers must have been looking down smiling at all the memories we shared over the years and the ways in which our lives have intertwined. ... So, my friend, when they left it was time for me to put my head on my pillow and dream sweet dreams, which I did. ... Thank you so much for this GORGEOUS rose!!!
