"My secret garden"......Posted by Japanalia (Yokohama, Japan) on 31 January 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. ....a corner in the Sankei Garden which was much isolated from the rest, where I found no one every time I visited. It particularly fascinated me in winter because of the artistic silhouettes of the naked trees. The leafless trees are wild plum trees [ume] and....maybe....a sakura (cherry tree); next, the decorative Japanese pine trees can have the most unexpected shapes! I did some work in photoshop as the inspiration took me, trying to make it look a little dramatic.
