....the blade of the Grand Intercontinental Hotel and the adjacent Convention Center are part of the greater architectural ensemble known as Pacifico Yokohama, which inludes also a large exhibitions building. The ensemble is located in the newest area of Yokohama, known as Minato Mirai 21 (which means "the port of the future 21st century"), which is STILL under construction, though the whole project has started more than 20 years ago. It is the place where the new generation of architects and designers can make full use of their imagination. This image was shot today, in the afternoon, with a Nikon D70s.
