A bunch of white chrysanthemums I found in a small garden behind the block, there where the farms show their bounty. I particularly liked the way light played on the petals and, without knowing, I even captured a small butterfly that was frolicking around.Chrysanthemums are my birthday flowers and though there are plenty of elegant ladies in the Japanese world of chrysanthemums (being the national flower of Japan and the insignia of the Japanese Imperial House), I still prefer the garden variety - they are so colourful and so cheerful.

Hi Gabriela...I'm so happy I looked into your portfolio as I had missed these. I absolutely adore the Daisy Mums for their simple beauty. The play of light is wonderful! This is beautiful!!

@Judy: Thank you, dear Judy, for your time and attention! Yes, it is the time of chysanthemums here, in Japan, and they bring about such warmth with their colours. A friendly hug from me, Gabriela
