I found these salmons cleaned and sliced and put up to dry at Zoorasia - the Yokohama Zoo which strives to keep the animals in their habitat as close as possible. I suppose the salmon was meant as food for some of the tenants.Found the display quite pictorial and I also did a filtered version that doesn't look bad.

Salmon is my favorite fish to eat and the last time I saw Salmon drying was in Alaska, but they were literally dried to a crisp. These are beautiful, Gabriela!

Nice shot. I tried salmon sushi while in Japan. It's great!

@Steve: Not so great as "toro", or even better "chu-toro"...the best and most expensive!
